hip, hip, hooray!

The first day of school was a smashing success. My homeroom is fun, and they laughed at my jokes. No funny kid stories yet, but I'm celebrating the day with some great pinot grigio. Whoo-hoo!

good to hear such enthusiasm from a teacher... not so much enthusiasm coming from my husband... we actually sunk to coming up with some line about how school drools and friday rules... ugghh... hopefully his attitude improves as he gets back into the swing of things...
